So I had the A/C running all night, which was also needed to keep the traffic noise out. I looked into the closet to see pillow scrunched up and a plastic bag with what looked like a blanket never did touch either. On the bed was a heavy comforter, way too warm for this time of year. Bathroom was well stocked with towels and shampoo, etc. There was no information in the room about anything, other than a rather cryptic 'how to use the TV channel guide', which resulted in about a half hour of trial and error of trying to figure it out. Room 323 was spacious with some eclectic furniture (I guess a mix of old and new) and even though it could use vacuuming (one of my pet peeves) the rest was clean. When I arrived the first thing I saw was an old commercial washing machine at the front door.hmmmm Apparently there is some remodeling going on, since there are signs to please excuse the mess while they are working. The hotel is right next to a very busy highway and I had asked for a room away from it the young lady at check-in assured me that it was on the quiet side (ask for an even numbered room), but it wasn't.
